Childcare

Your children will enjoy quality programs and enriching activities in the new state-of-the-art facility, the Campus Fun and Learn Center at RCC!

The Center is licensed, non-profit and provides child care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.

Fun, Rewarding, Stimulating

Programs are designed to provide developmental opportunities in an age-appropriate setting. We believe that learning should be fun, rewarding and stimulating. Our professional staff offers a positive experience that celebrates each child’s uniqueness while also appreciating those important things we all have in common.

Variety of Learning Activities Daily

We celebrate the needs of the whole child, who is growing physically, intellectually, socially, creatively and emotionally. Children are provided with a variety of learning activities daily. We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with families as caring partners supporting their children’s growth and development.

Open Year-Round

The Center is open year-round. Hours are 6:30 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Children may be enrolled part time or full time. Schedules are flexible to meet each family’s needs.

Childcare Subsidies and Grants

Childcare subsidies are available for RCC student-parents who are taking classes online or in person. In addition, children of RCC students may be eligible to receive tuition subsidies and scholarships. Please contact Suzanne Gallagher at 845-574-4561 or [email protected] to inquire.

Grants Available for RCC Student Parents
Through the Child Care Access Means Parents in School Program (CCAMPIS)

RCC is the recipient of a federal grant from the U.S. Department of Education which aims to support the participation of low-income parents in post-secondary education through the provision of campus-based childcare services.

The grant funds help subsidize childcare costs for low-income, Pell-eligible students enrolled at RCC. Under the program, students contribute a nominal portion of the cost of childcare, and CCAMPIS funds the rest. The number of hours of subsidized childcare that a student is eligible for depends on their class schedule—but is not limited to hours while the student is in class—and is designed to allow time for homework, studying, tutoring, attending office hours, etc.

Interested Pell-eligible student-parents should complete this application form to start the process.
