Why Study Mathematics?

Courses in mathematics and science provide students with a foundation for more specialized and advanced areas of study in a baccalaureate program. Courses for these degree areas are comprised of a variety of disciplines including, mathematics, physics, engineering, and science. The degree is recommended for students who plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering or science.
