Why Study Cyber Security?

Cyber Security is the field of protecting and defending information and information systems, by ensuring their availability, integrity, and confidentiality. The demand for cyber security and cyber security skills exists in many areas, from a national security level to day-to-day business operations. In this fast growing world of technology, it is important for every business and individual to be able to keep their information secure. The AAS degree in Cyber Security is for students who wish to pursue a career in the field of data and network security and administration.

A distinguished faculty of over 100 full-time and 400 part-time members includes numerous Fulbright Scholars, SUNY Chancellor’s Award winners, and published authors. Average class size of 22 allows faculty members to work one-on-one with students.
