Why Study Computer Studies?

The ability to understand computer hardware and software has become integral to modern life. Among its most important functions are the efficient transmission of information and the storage and analysis of information. Those who work in this industry help individuals and organizations share and store information through computer networks and systems, the internet, and computer databases.

An Associate of Science (AS) degree provides a solid foundation for those who plan to transfer to a four-year college. Those who prefer to enter the workforce immediately should consider earning an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or certificate.

Degrees offered:

Associate of Science (AS): Computer Information Systems

Associate of Applied Science (AAS): Computer Support Services
