Why Study Automotive Technology?
Rockland Community College is pleased to announce the opening of the Herbert Kurz Automotive Technology Center located at 37 Ramland Road in Orangeburg, New York.
As the only Regional Certification Center (NC3) in the Northeast, the 27,304 square-foot facility includes five classrooms, a certification room and a Snap-On Certified Lab with 10 lifts and customized Snap-On equipment. The College offers an AAS in Automotive Technology and over 15 Snap-On Industrial Certifications. RCC uses cutting edge academic technology in the Automotive Technology program.
The automotive technology program offers life-long learning opportunities to continually increase students’ skills in the automotive industry utilizing the latest tools and equipment. The learning experiences at the Automotive Technology Center will result in the highest level of marketable skills in the automotive industry.
This degree includes the following certifications:
- Snap-On: Automotive Scanner Diagnostics Certification
- Snap-On: Multimeter Certification
- Snap-On: Mechanical and Electronic Torque Certification
- Snap-On: Wheel Service and Alignment Certification
