SCI 119 Nature of Life

The Nature of Life is a course designed for the student whose imagination and curiosity have been stimulated by the nature programs that have been broadcast by public television. Each week they will explore the strategies which are employed by various species of animals and plants that enable them to survive environmental change. Through discussions and wildlife documentaries you will travel to a different remote area of the earth each week. Explore life on the highest mountain peaks and in the deepest ocean, travel through a tropical rain forest and on the driest desert on Earth. In each area life thrives and we will explore and unravel the mysteries of the techniques animals have for survival.
