RLS 290 Women and Religion Today
(cross-listed with SOC 290)
This course will give a historical perspective on the widespread challenge, which contemporary women are posing to mainstream religions. From separatism to traditional spirituality, from developmental psychology to interest in the goddess, women offer testimony to the force of feminine questions. Their religious consciousness and behavior also show the generative power of the religions which fostered them.
