RLS 250 Jewish Traditions

 

This course is an introduction to the study of Jewish Tradition as it pertains to the Jewish life cycle, the milestone events which shape one’s life. Birth, bar/bat mitzvah, marriage, divorce, and death will be studied by means of primary and secondary sources and historical, linguistic and geographical factors.
