PSY 150 Applied Early Childhood Development I

 

This developmental child psychology course is designed for students interested in working with young children. Students will obtain field based experiential view of the early childhood profession, supported weekly seminars in child development concepts and theories. A minimum of four (4) hours a week observing and participating in the field will be required in addition to a 3-hour in class seminar. Weekly reflective journals, child observations forms, class discussion and small group activity planning are some of the requirements.

 

  • Prerequisite: PSY 145 or permission of the Discipline Coordinator
