PSY 146 The Exceptional Child
A course for students interested in exceptional children ages 3 to 18 which provides definitions, characteristics, developmental profiles, techniques for identification, and educational interventions for gifted, mentally retarded, visually and hearing impaired, communication disorder, emotionally handicapped, learning disabled, the physically and multi-handicapped. Analysis of case study material, on-site visits to clinics or crisis centers and craft projects are planned.
