PSY 103 General Psychology

 

PSY 103 provides an introduction to the discipline of psychology, beginning with a historical review of the field. Students will learn contemporary psychological research methods, including observation, hypothesis development, and the collection and analysis of data. The course will also cover the following topics: social psychology, the biological basis of behavior, emotion and motivation, learning and conditioning, human development, personality, abnormal behavior and perception.
