POL 212 Politics in the Movies Part I & II
Virtually all American films have political content but some are more overtly political in nature than others. Both parts of this course deal with the more overt films: Part I covers selected movies on political institutions (presidency, congress, political parties, interest groups, etc) and Part II covers selected movies on political issues (democracy, political corruption, censorship, racism, etc). The student has the option of taking one or both parts of the course and may select them in any order.
