PHY 205 Engineering Physics III


The third semester of a three-semester sequence in a calculus-based introductory physics course for students interested in a career in engineering. Topics included are Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction, Faraday’s Law, Electromagnetic Waves, Properties of Electromagnetic Waves, Reflection, Refraction, Interference, Diffraction and Polarization. Applications in Optics, Topics in Modern Physics: Relativity and Quantum Mechanics.
