PHY 112 Physics II Honors with Calculus
The course is the second semester of a two-semester sequence of calculus-based honors physics. This course is designed for students pursuing a career in the sciences, including health sciences and engineering. Topics include: electric field, Gauss's law, electric potential, capacitance and dielectric, current and resistance, DC circuits, magnetic fields, Faraday's law, AC circuits, electromagnetic waves, laws of geometric optics, image formation, interference of light waves, diffraction, relativity, nuclear structure and nuclear physics.
