PHL 212 Ethics in America

 

Contemporary ethical issues are examined through case studies which emphasize the process of moral decision making. Readings of classical and modern philosophers are used as part of the debate, which is conducted by a panel of professors, lawyers, theologians, media writers, activists, a psychiatrist, a surgeon general and a Supreme Court justice.
