NUR 206 Physical Assessment
This course is designed to present physical assessment skills and knowledge that can be applied immediately in the health care setting to recognize and differentiate between normal and abnormal assessment findings. It will enhance patient assessment skills, promote integration of current nursing theory with clinical practice and enhance the participant’s ability to function safely and effectively in the rapidly expanding role of the nurse in all health care settings.
- Prerequisite: NUR 142 or LPN or RN license or permission of the Discipline Coordinator.

Required for LPNs and other students given advanced placement in the Nursing Process sequence through transfer and challenge credit.
