HOS 230 Kosher Food Preparation
This course introduces the student to the principles involved in the preparation and serving of kosher food. Through demonstration the student becomes familiar with the religious significance of the kitchen and the food prepared and served in the kosher way. The student will be exposed to the proper way to set up and maintain the kitchen, serving dishes and utensils as well as learning basic professional kitchen skills, weights and measures.
