ENG 263 Poetry Writing Workshops I-IV
At each term’s end, students present a manuscript consisting of seven to ten poems, which represent the quality and progress of their work. During each week’s workshop, students bring enough copies of single poems so that each member of the workshop can have a copy. The poems are read aloud by their authors, the poems are celebrated, and helpful suggestions are made without rancor, sarcasm, or any other hurtful manner. It is a welcoming place to be.
