ELT 248 Digital Circuits

 

An introduction to modern Digital Electronics. Students study Binary and Hex Arithmetic, number systems, truth tables and logic design using map minimization. AND, NAND, NOR inverters and clock circuits are discussed as well as flip-flop, Schmitt trigger and other medium-scale integrated circuits and Analog/Digital conversion. Emphasis is on digital hardware and circuits.
