CRJ 207 Introduction to Criminalistics

 

An introduction to the problem and techniques of scientific criminal investigation, in both the field and the forensic laboratory. Emphasis is on the value and assistance of forensic techniques to the police officer, detective or investigator. Illustrations are drawn from experience of crime laboratories throughout the country, using photographs, color slides and field test kits. A workbook and assigned readings reinforce class lectures.
