BIO 209 Human Genetics

 

An introductory course which provides an understanding of the principles of human inheritance and the effect of environmental factors. Topics include human diversity, evolution, application of gene transmission, cloning, gene counseling and screening, mapping an organism’s genes; and social aspects of genetics.
