RCC Scholarships and Programs
RCC STUDENT EMPLOYMENT
The College offers part-time employment opportunities to eligible students with the particular skills requested by departmental offices.
Application: The FAFSA should be completed each academic year. In addition, an employment application must be completed in the Job Placement Office, Room 8238 of the Technology Center or in the departmental office in which the student is to be employed.
RCC FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
RCC Foundation scholarships are offered to both new and continuing students. Private donations to the RCC Foundation fund these varied scholarships.
The “Rockland Community College Scholarships for New Students” booklet is produced every spring and is available in the RCC Admissions and Financial Aid Offices and the local high school guidance offices. Applications for the scholarships for new students are typically due in late summer, and the selected recipients are notified in early August.
The “RCC Foundation Scholarships” booklet identifying the scholarships for continuing students is available in February and can be found in the Financial Aid Office and other Student Development Division Offices on campus. The application deadline for Foundation scholarships is typically in late March and the scholarships are awarded at the Annual Honors Convocation in May.
Application: Applications for the scholarships are in the scholarship booklets.
