Financial Aid Programs

There are three basic types of financial assistance programs: grants and scholarships that do not have to be repaid; student loans that must be repaid; and self-help programs like Federal Work Study. Please note that the availability of federal, state, and local funding for the financial aid programs described below is determined by external governmental bodies. Submission of an application does not necessarily guarantee that the award will be approved.
