1. A student must meet all general eligibility requirements and income guidelines for each federal and/or state program to be eligible.
2. Only credit-bearing and non-credit-bearing courses required in a student’s degree or certificate are counted in the financial aid enrollment status.
3. RCC has three financial aid award periods in a calendar year: Spring, Summer and Fall.
4. RCC’s 17-day Wintersession is combined with the Spring semester to make the Spring financial aid award period. Credits from Wintersession are combined with credits from the Spring semester to determine the student’s federal financial aid enrollment status for the Spring award period. For New York State aid, only Spring semester credits are used to determine the enrollment status.
5. RCC’s three Summer mini-sessions are combined to make the Summer financial aid award period. Credits from all three mini-sessions are combined to determine the student’s federal financial aid enrollment status for the Summer award period.
6. RCC’s Fall financial aid award period contains only the Fall semester. Credits from only the Fall semester determine the student’s federal financial aid enrollment status for the Fall financial aid award period.
