The following financial aid applications are available in the Financial Aid Office:

  • Rockland Community College Application for Financial Aid
  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) for full-time New York residents
  • Application for Part-Time Study (APTS) for part-time New York residents
  • Student Loan Application
  • RCC Foundation Scholarships

Financial aid personnel are available to assist students and their families to complete their applications for federal, state and local financial aid programs. Helpful technical guidance in the FAFSA mini-lab is also provided so that the application process can be easy and error-free. Free personal financial aid counseling and technical assistance is available on a walk-in basis.

The early application deadline set by the College for filing financial aid forms is

  • May 31st for fall semester
  • December 15th for spring semester

You may apply after these dates, but awards may not be processed in time to meet the Bursar’s deadlines for making payment arrangements. Different financial aid programs require different types of information and documentation. To document income, students may be required to submit copies of Federal IRS and New York State Income Tax forms for student/spouse and/or parents, as well as other evidence of taxable and/or nontaxable income.
