Financial Aid
In 2010/11, over 3,700 SUNY Rockland Community College students received more than $15 million in financial assistance to help them meet the cost of higher education. Since many students are eligible for some kind of financial aid, all students are encouraged to apply. Funds are generally available to those who can demonstrate financial need.
The Financial Aid Office assists students and families in completing applications for federal, state and local financial aid programs and subsequently awards aid to all eligible applicants. Free personal financial aid counseling and technical assistance is available on a walk-in basis.
The Office also has a FAFSA mini-lab where students can file their financial aid applications on-line. Helpful technical guidance is provided so that the application process can be easy and error-free.
