The SUNY Rockland Community College (RCC) 2007 - 2008 Men's
Soccer Team struggled through an injury plagued campaign with four
starters from last year missing the season due to injuries. The
Hawks and Head Coach Loren Green made the playoffs, but lost to Suffolk
Community College, who was ranked number two in the NJCAA polls.
Artan Balaj and Diego Velasquez were named to the Second Team All
Region, and Jorge Minanao was named to the 2007 Region XV Sportsmanship
Team. Velasquez was also named Mid Hudson Conference Most
Valuable Player. As well, Balaj and JohnPierre Ricketts were
named to the First Team.
