Part-time students take less than 12 credits per semester. On average, from 1993-2003, part-time students took 6 credits or 2 courses per semester.

Part-timers represent almost half of all students enrolled at SUNY Rockland Community College. Across the nation approximately 50% of all enrollments at 2-year colleges come from part-time students.
