Setting up Default View Step 1

Before we had Plone, the only way you can set up your landing page is by naming the page "index.html"

With Plone, all you have to do is to tell which item you want it to be the default view of your site.

1. Login to Plone and go to the folder where you want to set up a default view. In Plone, the default view is the Summary view. This view is common in the Help section of our website. Click on the Display Menu located at the light green row in between Actions and Add Item. This will open the Display drop down menu. Choose Select a content item as a default view.
