Arranging the Left Navigation Step 1

In the previous version of our website, the only way you can arrange your left navigation is to change it on the navigation file of your site which would constitute opening the file and arranging the links to suit your needs. With the latest version of our site, the left navigation links are dynamically created by Plone and can easily be arrange by going through Contents tab of the folder (your department site) and moving the items to the arrangement that you want.

Make sure you are log in to Plone and have access to the items you want to rename.

1. Go to the Contents Tab of your folder. If you look closely, you will notice that the items on the navigation is similarly arrange to the items on the Contents tab. Remember though the the left navigation will only show items that are published. That is the reason why the Hours of Operation does not show up on the left navigation.

So keep a note to yourself that you have to Publish every item you created that you want to show up on the navigation and in the Search.
