How to post in Google Groups
Tutorial on how to do postings in Google Groups for SUNY Rockland
There are two ways to post in Google Groups:
Post directly to the group
|1. Sign in to Google Groups|
|2. Click on your group's name on My groups panel located at the right side of the SUNY Rockland Google Groups homepage.|
|3. Click the + new post link located under Discussion bar on the right side of the page.|
Post via e-mail
To submit a post via e-mail, just send an email to your group's email address. The subject line of the e-mail will be the title of the post, and the body of the e-mail will be the content of the post.
If you are unsure of the group's e-mail, please go to the group's homepage or contact the group's Manager.
|Note: Most postings will appear in seconds. But if the group is moderated, you have to wait for the moderator to approve the posting before it will show in the group's discussion pane.|
