Moving mailing list between computer

*The address book for Thunderbird resides by default in your profile folder in your computer. So if you create your mailing list in your work computer, you would not be able to use it at your home computer without exporting and importing the list and vice versa.

 

For this tutorial, I created my mailing list on my Work Computer and will be importing it to my Home Computer.

 

To export the list you have just created, just follow these steps.

 

1. Make sure the mailing list you want to export is selected

2. Go to Tools and select Export

3. The Export Address Book Window opens. Type in the filename of the mailing list you are exporting and I’m saving the file on my desktop so I could easily locate it. Click Save to export the mailing list.
