What is Datatel’s Graphical User Interface (UI)?

Colleague User Interface (UI) is a Graphical User Interface (GUI) provided by Datatel for users of Microsoft Windows. It provides a way to view data in the Colleague Database.

UI provides:

• Point-and-click screens for Colleague users.
• A Windows-based report viewer to easily view reports on a screen and/or save them to your PC.
• New capabilities for integrating Colleague with you PC and desktop applications such as Microsoft Office.

Who Should Read This?

This is intended for everyone who uses Colleague and wants to learn the basics of getting around in Colleague UI as opposed to learning, for example, how to admit a student or depreciate an asset.
