Individual Appointments & Drop In Counseling Sessions

Drop-In Counseling Sessions are available Monday-Thursday for students unable to come in during Drop-In Counseling Sessions, individual appointments can be arranged by calling (845) 574 - 4307.

 

Transfer Resource Library

Transfer Services has a comprehensive resource library to help students through the transfer process. Included are a broad range of resources such as a collection of college catalogs, transfer files, reference guide books, a transfer services website complete with transfer-related links, and application view books and materials. Open to all students during regular business hours.

 

Transfer-Related Events

Each semester, a transfer event is held on campus to encourage Rockland Community College students to make direct contact with representatives of 4 year institutions.

College Night, a program cosponsored with the Rockland County Guidance Counselors, is an evening program held annually at the end of October. Typically, over 200 schools from across the country participate.

The College Transfer Program, coordinated by Len Gersten, Transfer Counselor at Rockland Community College, is a day time event held annually in the beginning of March. Transfer admission counselors available for Rockland Community College students to discuss admission requirements and procedures, transfer credit, academic major and campus/residential life information.

 

Individual College Visits

Throughout the semester, college representatives from area four-year schools visit the Rockland Community College campus. The representatives will staff outreach tables located on the Academic I and II bridge. For additional information contact Len Gersten, at (845) 574-4303.
