Individual Appointments & Drop In Counseling Sessions

Drop-In Counseling Sessions are available Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Students unable to come in during Drop-In Counseling Sessions can arrange individual appointments by calling (845) 574 - 4306.

Transfer Resource Library

Transfer Services has a comprehensive resource library to help students through the transfer process. Included are a broad range of resources such as a collection of college catalogs, college reference books, a transfer services website complete with transfer-related links, application viewbooks and materials.

Transfer-Related Events

Each semester, a transfer event is held on campus to encourage SUNY Rockland Community College students to make direct contact with representatives of four-year institutions.

College Night, a program cosponsored with the Rockland County Guidance Counselors, is an evening program held annually at the end of October. Typically, over 200 schools from across the country participate.

The College Transfer Program, coordinated by Len Gersten, Faculty Counselor at SUNY Rockland Community College, is a daytime event held annually during the beginning of March. At this two-day event, transfer admission counselors are available from SUNY, CUNY and other area four-year schools to discuss admission requirements and procedures, transfer-credit issues, academic majors and programs, and campus/residential life information.
