The mission of Career Services is to provide the highest quality of personalized career services to its students. The staff is committed to offering a wide range of services that will assist students in understanding and implementing the critically important academic and career decision-making processes. Students are provided personal assistance in determining their career choices, acquiring valuable, credit-bearing internship placement and opportunities, and locating beneficial job opportunities both off and on-campus.
The primary mission of Career Services is to help students achieve the following:
Develop an understanding of their interests, abilities, and educational and career goals
Explore future academic and career possibilities
Locate experiential, internship opportunities that optimize their future academic choices and career opportunities
Develop effective resume and interviewing skills
Find educational programs or employment opportunities aligned with their career goals
Establish contacts with professionals in their fields who will provide experiential and employment opportunities
Develop interpersonal and professional skills
