SUNY General Education Requirements

Approved SUNY Rockland courses

Effective Fall 2003

To complete a four-year degree at a SUNY institution, students are required to take 30 credits of General Education in 10 knowledge areas. At community colleges, students are advised to complete 7 out the 10 areas prior to transfer. Students must take one course* from each of the ten areas.
