Q: How can I join the SGA?

A: Take out a platform and petition which can be picked up in the office of Student Involvement room 3208.

 

Q: Can I still be a member if my class ends at 4:30 pm, or begins at 6:30 pm?

A: The answer depends on an individual’s situation. Discuss it with the advisor and E-board before meeting.

 

Q: Do I have to be a member of the SGA to attend meetings?

A: No, SGA meetings are open to the public. However, prior to attending a meeting you could contact the SGA secretary to be put on the agenda as a guest speaker.

 

Q: What are roll-in elections?

A: During the Spring Semester, if there are open Freshman & Sophomore senator positions, candidates can take out roll-in platforms and be voted in by current SGA members.
