Rockland Debate Team

The Rockland Debate Team competes in intercollegiate debate tournaments in New York and New Jersey. The team is open to any Rockland student. Everyone from beginners to experienced high school debaters are welcome.

Debate Formats: Competing in debate is not as intimidating as it sounds. Students practice before tournaments and for beginning debaters the audience is often a single judge. To learn more about debate formats visit the Public Forum Debate League Web Site.
