Learn if motorcycle riding is for you through our 15-20 hour rider course. Your Rider Coaches are nationally certified by The Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) and State certified by The Motorcycle Association of New York State (MANYS). You will be learning basic skills like straight line riding, turning, shifting and stopping. Once accomplished, you will progress to cornering, swerving, advanced/emergency braking, speed selection and more. There will be both classroom time and riding course experience. Successfully completing the course entitles you to a DMV Motorcycle Road Test Waiver, along with the benefit of The Point and Insurance Reduction Program. Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing the road test waiver which is necessary for licensure. You are responsible for bringing the waiver to the DMV to receive your Motorcycle endorsement, which will apply to your existing NYS Driver’s License.

Requirements

  • A current and valid NYS Driver’s License.
  • A current and valid NYS Motorcycle Permit (photocopies of both to be taken at class).
