The Academy for Gifted and Talented Kids is a new program designed to challenge the educational needs of academically gifted and talented children. It incorporates a curriculum and teaching strategies that will stretch the minds of children who have special abilities. Classes are taught by experienced, state-certified teachers and college-level faculty.

The curriculum will include programs that involve critical thinking and problem solving skills such as code-cracking, mysteries of the world, strategy games, science fun and art smart. It focuses on application of knowledge.

Admissions Criteria:

To be eligible for the academy, children must either already be in a gifted program at their school or have eligible standardized test scores. IQ tests will also be accepted for review.
