Chief Communications Officer
Tzipora Reitman joined RCC’s administration in 1996. She developed Campus Communications to serve the College’s public relations, communications and marketing needs. She serves as College spokesperson and the principal liaison to the media. Her department handles publications, advertising, the website, social media and branding. She has won numerous awards from SUNY CUAD and the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations.
Reitman is chair of the Creative Services Committee and Jewish Heritage Month/Holocaust Commemoration Week committee, and serves on the Diversity Council, Emergency Response Team, Enrollment Task Force and Web Committee.
Prior to joining RCC, Reitman served as editor of The Monsey Advocate, a weekly newspaper, and as a freelance reporter for the Journal News. She co-authored Spice & Spirit: The Complete Kosher Jewish Cookbook (LWC Publications, 1990).
Reitman co-founded Hillel of Rockland to promote Jewish identity among college students and serves as its treasurer. She has chaperoned three Birthright Israel trips.
Reitman earned her bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College.
