Jeremy Juan Rodriguez was appointed Instructor of Science in 2015. He had previously served as a full-time temporary Biology lecturer at RCC for two years, and before that as a Science adjunct at the College for six years. Since 2008 he has tutored students in Biology and related subjects in the Tutoring Center and Science Learning Center. He also was Chair of Science from 2015 to 2016.

At RCC, Rodriguez helped found the first club chapter of the Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society, and mentors chapter members in their research. He actively contributes to a steering committee that writes grants and establishes STEM education programs, and launched a website to encourage greater competency in the biological sciences. He also created an Anatomy and Physiology lab review session that can be found on iTunesU.
