Biography

Erica Santelmo was appointed Instructor of Nursing Instructor in Fall 2015. Her teaching credentials consist of both didactic and clinical instruction in a variety of areas including pediatrics, medical-surgical nursing, psychiatric nursing, laboratory skills instruction, and simulation coordination. She has taught nursing at both associate and baccalaureate degree programs in New York and New Jersey. Her extensive clinical experience includes infectious disease research in the pediatric population, pediatric oncology ambulatory care, and school nursing. She is currently involved in adolescent research while pursuing a PhD in Nursing at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
