Biography

Donna Peters has been teaching in the RCC Nursing Department since 1995 and has been a full Professor of Nursing since 2007. She instructs and supervises students in the clinical area of Rehab nursing at Helen Hayes Hospital and serves as student Nursing advisor. As a Nurse Educator, Professor Peters also teaches at Nyack, Good Samaritan and Helen Hayes hospitals and AT&T Home Care, and has worked as a per-diem nurse at Helen Hayes and Good Samaritan. She is certified by Columbia University as a Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner.

Professor Peters also has served as a full-time Nursing instructor at Seton Hall University and worked in critical care staff development at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ, and Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY.
