Donna Peters has been teaching in the RCC Nursing Department since 1995 and has been a full Professor of Nursing since 2007. She instructed and supervised students in the clinical area of Rehab nursing at Helen Hayes Hospital. As a Nurse Educator, Professor Peters has taught continuing education at Nyack, Good Samaritan, Helen Hayes hospitals and AT&T Home Care, and has worked as a per-diem nurse at Helen Hayes and Good Samaritan. She is certified by Columbia University as a Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner.

Professor Peters also has served as a full-time Nursing instructor at Seton Hall University and worked in critical care staff development at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ, and Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY.
