Biography

Diana Carey is an Associate Professor and Discipline Coordinator of the Exercise & Human Performance Department (formerly Physical Education) at RCC, and is a Certified Athletic Trainer for the Athletic Department. A 1997 RCC graduate, Carey started in the department in 2000 as an adjunct and as Fitness Coordinator. Since 2006 she has taught Physical Education, Fitness and Athletic Training courses. She was a full-time Instructor from 2006 to 2012, when she was appointed Assistant Professor.

Carey has implemented fitness and wellness programs for students, athletes and employees. She provides Athletic Training coverage for all RCC athletic events, and treatment and rehabilitation for all athletes as needed from late August to May. She is a National and New York State Certified Athletic Trainer.
