Volunteer Program

From one volunteer at the Robert Yeager Health Center in 1973, RSVP has grown to more than 800 volunteers. These volunteers are actively assisting more than 150 non-profit organizations and county agencies in providing services to 100,000 or more Rockland residents. Last year RSVP members served nearly 125,000 hours. With a dollar value of $20.25 per hour for their work, according to Independent Sector a coalition that promotes philanthropy, they contributed over $2,500,000 in service to Rockland County.
