Rockland Small Business Seminar on State Assistance Programs featuring an in-depth, small business-specific presentation by representatives of the Empire State Development program
 

Don’t know where to start looking online for state resources?

Wonder whether your small business is in compliance with state regulations?

Want to know if state funding is available to help your company reach its goals?

 

Then join Assemblywoman Ellen Jaffee on February 23rd for a free seminar, led by small business specialists from New York’s Empire State Development program, to get your questions answered and learn about programs that can help your business.
 

The Deputy Director of Empire State Development, Mr. Steve Cohen, will be making a presenation, along with Ms. Aimee Vargas, the Hudson Valley Regional Director. Both will provide detailed information on New York State's resources for small businesses.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Highlights of the state's new one-stop website for businesses
  • Availability of grants, loans, and funding the state provides
  • An overview of legal & compliance issues for small businesses

Also on hand at the seminar to answer questions and provide guidance will be representatives from small businesses assistance programs including the Small Business Development Center, Rockland Economic Development Corporation, and more.
