RCC’s University Center Expands to Offer More Than 50 Online Degrees
Earning a bachelor’s degree without leaving Rockland just got easier, thanks to a new partnership between RCC and Bellevue University, a private, non-profit university with more than 40,000 graduates since its founding in 1966.
Bellevue offers more than 50 online bachelor’s degrees. To maximize student success, Bellevue University will provide a full-time employee on RCC’s campus who will work directly with students regarding enrollment, transferring of credits or other questions.
RCC students will be able to transfer all of their credits, including their full associate’s degree. Credits earned in an associate’s degree fulfill Bellevue University’s general education requirements, which is why students are encouraged to complete their associate’s degrees before moving to bachelor’s degree completion. Credit hours from CLEP, DSST, military experience and corporate certifications may also be considered during the transfer process.
Bellevue University partners with community colleges across the country. The on-campus personal support it provides is key to its success, differentiating it from other online degree programs.
Bellevue faculty members bring extensive real-world experiences to every course. More than 50 bachelor’s degrees in rapid growth professional areas are offered, including:
- Business, Management, and Leadership
- Science and Information Technology
- Healthcare, Nursing, and Human Services
- Public Service, Safety, Security & Intelligence
Bellevue’s degree programs and student services are designed to help busy, working students complete their bachelor's degree while balancing commitments to family and work.
