Program Overview

This program is designed to prepare students for the role of professional medical call center representative. The program teaches principles and processes for providing successful customer service in a medical organization. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Administrative and clerical procedures such as data entry, word processing, keyboarding, Microsoft Office, managing files, telephone systems and other office procedures.  A module dedicated to medical terminology will be included in the course. Communication skills, organization skills and the importance of attitude and professionalism will also be covered.
