Our Intramural Sports Program encourages the wellness of its community by providing opportunities to both students and faculty/staff to engage in fun, competitive and social activities. Whether you’re a casual athlete or a seasoned veteran, RCC has something for everyone at any skill level. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to stay in shape, make new friends and have fun!

We have plenty of activities to participate in during the academic school year:

  • Bench Press Competition

  • Dodgeball
  • March Madness 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament
  • 4 on 4 Volleyball Tournament
  • 2 Mile Campus Run

We are continually working to expand and offer new sports and activities; so be on the lookout for events that interest you!


Athletics are for the entire College community to enjoy, whether as a participant or as a fan.  The Hawks field teams in various sports. Men’s sports include baseball, basketball, bowling, golf, soccer, and tennis. Women’s sports consist of basketball, bowling, soccer, tennis, and volleyball. Rockland Community College offers a highly competitive athletic program within a supportive academic environment, with a strong focus on assisting student athletes in their pursuit of a four-year college degree.

Stay active throughout the year with RCC’s Family Recreation Program.  We offer services to the college community and citizens of Rockland County to fulfill recreational and fitness needs.
